Day 3 Linden

After ye all pack, you find the lich in the hallway.
"Going somewhere?"

"Aye, Linden decided to be a bard, so stuff that in yer book and smoke it."
The dwarf says.

"Has he now? I'll be sure to check out his performances..." he says nonchalantly.

"Of course the offer stands Linden, come back when you wish to learn magick!"
He grins.
"Or to just chat, I miss other Kender at times.."

The cleric is speechless.

"I do hope you enjoyed your stay."

"Aye..it was..suitable."
"Yes, very ..nice?"

"Good."

"I look forward to that day."
"Most certainly."
He smiles and kisses your hand. His lips feel dry yet soft.
"Be safe my kinsman."
"Take this if any trouble ye, but show them."
He places a stone amulet about your neck, it has a symbol on it that now that you think about it, you noticed on banners in the great hall. A red stone sits in it's center.

Linden smiles and winks, "hey we kender need to stick together," he looks at the amulet. "Wow, does this turn people into toads or something, because that would be very interesting."

He laughs. It might be disturbing, but ends up just sounding cool.

"It is my symbol. Show it, and any who would cross you will know they are crossing me as well."

"It is no gaurentee that they will take heed, but if they are wise they will."
He smiles.
"Indeed Kender Together."
"Wet the red gem with your saliva and look into the gem and you can contact me."

"Dragon orbs you say? What did they do?"
He seems intrigued.

[ooc - Linden has no idea really.]

"They allow someone to control dragons, I think, or communicate with them over long distances, I think."

"Hmm..most intriguing.."

The dwarf gives him a stare.
"Don't even think about it, deadhead."

He smiles.
"Deadhead...how..origanol."

"Well, have fun!" He teleports away.

"Er..well...he's a blasted lich he is. He's dead now matter how pretty he plays at."
"And he's got a head and all..bah."

"At any rate, perhaps we should head back."
The mounts return.

"Oh deadhead, I get it." Linden smiles and mounts up, riding off with the others.

You all arrive late afternoon. Some children are playing outside still, sunset is probably about 2 hrs a way still.
The village sentries nod at you as you enter.

Some boy runs up.
"So did ya smite the liche?"

"Nay." The Paladin replies gruffly.

"Oh..."

"But I did call him a Deadhead and lived to tell the tale."
The boy laughs.

A strange figure can be seen standing in the shadows peering at you Linden.
